How can I restore the default theme on different pages for JA Teline V template. Events, Video and Blog pages are no longer default template theme. Video page especially, click on a video article link and instead of full preview of video player it’s a tiny screen.

I’ve been reading that same documentation for 2 days, I’ve changed the template style before for different pages but this time the only option is to have every page the same or nothing.

So basically trying to get the template back to the demo viewing styles on Event, Video and Blog pages. And if i try to select default for events, video and blog the site is back to normal except index page is way off balance and not recognizable. But the rest of the site does not use default. So default for all is not an option. It seems default for all pages is what changed on update.

Hi there

You will need to duplicate template styles and assign to each style the specific layout

example :

Ja Teline V Events template style should use events layout ( 2nd Image )

Then assign to each menu item ( Events – Videos ) the specific template style .

That’s the way it is set but not changing anything. But see images, this is new. When i click on a event or video article instead of the old style i see this

Hi there

Looking at your website i noted that your settings are all correct , i alos noted other 3rd party cache management and seo management plugins installed – this avoid to make correctly changes to your default settings of template ( General tab )

First to proceed analyzing possible reason, i can suggest to disable or temp uninstall all these 3rd party plugins.

I just decided to replace the template. Have had so many issues with this template since day one. Out of 100 other website templates i have running for years this one has given me so much trouble and it’s 3 years old. Time for a change.

Ja Teline_V is not simple to manage , but you can also try to restore an old version of your website backup and look at differences between them .

Again i compared your website to my local version that is working fine and all your settings are correct, so it is something added on your website that is causing this.

Last week it was the Twitter module causing SSL issues, the week before it was the weather app module that caused the site not to load, week before it was the market mover app module caused the site to crash, before that it was the what’s new module. We keep shutting off modules because they no longer work and they are part of the template.

So time to replace this mess.
