I seem to have identified that my update problems with JA modules is related to the fact that I did not use JA extension manager. That said I just installed JA extension manager and can not access it. Here is an image of what happens when I click on the component. Basically a blue screen of death, so I can neither fix my upgrade problems (i.e. upgrading JA Social to 1.02 and the various modules).

@ Allenjj,

Which version of Joomla are you using? Did you try to download the latest version of JA Extension Manager and re-install into your website?

Joomla 3.2.2. Yes I just download extension manager and tried installing twice with the same results.
