Hi

I implemented a web site using the JA Rutile theme for a non-profit sector client some years ago (pre-T3) and has not been updated. The important version numbers here are:

Joomla v 1.5.22
JA Rutile template v 1 (2009)
JA News 1.3.1
JA News Frontpage 1.3.1

Recently the client reported the JA News frontpage was misbehaving, the auto roll doesn’t work and there are blank slides showing up between some of the News items. The slideshow has to be manually started with the controls.This behaviour can be seen at:

beneath the main nav bar.

So best best would be to upgrade the extension to see if that corrects these problems?

I have been trying to obtain upgrades for the JA News FP module which according to my searches is up to v 1.4.1 now. I purchased JA Extensions Club membership to get access to this upgrade but this doesn’t seem to give me access to any downloadable extensions. So I am stuck.

Can any of the admins or mods here point me the right direction to get the upgrade to this upgrade? Also do I also need to upgrade JA news module as well. or just JA News FP, to corect these bugs?

Hello ascent_hosting,

JA News FP is a module for Joomla 1.5. On Joomla 2.5, it’s renamed to JA News Featured.

Hi I can see the link you provided for Joomla 1.5,, I can log in and click on the download link for version JA News FP 1.4.0 but instead of gettoing the download file I get this error message:

As I mentioned in my OP I am paid up member of Extensions club.
