Joomla 2.5.8

Yesterday I updated the JA T3 framework plug-in to v2.5.7 and the JA University template to 1.0.4
Now the Main Content block is gone from the home page.

I tried rolling back the T3 framework and also the template, but nothing will bring the main content block back again.
The “Hide Main content block” in settings is NO.
Yes, there is an ‘Featured Article’.
There are no caches on.

This is on a live site.

Help would be most appreciated.

Found the problem:
Updating the template caused the HOME PAGE to be assigned to the template.
For some reason that also killed the Main Content Block.

There were NO assigns prior to updating the template.
