Hello,

Before purchasing Joomla Job Board I would like to know how the updates work. Can I just upgrade (with a backup and a test) on the fly and are my settings saved and taken over in the next version?

I am also having problems with the ioncube file when I tried it on my localhost. It depends on my hosting and the answer above if I will buy the component.

With standard Joomla component update, your job database normally won’t be affected. If there is any DB change we will have instruction for backup/upgrade. Therefore all of your setting will be saved and taken over to the new version.

You can do a search for install ioncube on your localhost. If it is a live server, we can help you via our ticket system.
