Hi,

running a Joomla 2.5.2 site with JA T3 framework 1.6.0 and JA_Purity_II template 1.2.0.
Everything works okay.

just upgraded (on my test server) to JA T3 framework 2.5.1 and found out that my site does not work any more: when surfing to the site I and up with a blanc page (source is empty)?

Downgrading to JA T3 framework 2.5.0 did not solve it, downgrading back to JA T3 framework 1.6.0 made my site work again…

How can I troubleshoot this as I want to be able to run the latest version?

any help appreciated.

EDIT: Installed JA extensionmanager and upgraded from within this component: this works > everything up-to-date again!

Hello,

An other solution to this is clearing the JAT3 cache and setting temporary the JS and CSS optimization from the tempalte settings to NO.

Anyway i am glad that everything is working fine for you and we welcome you to JA community! 😀

Hi pascm,

thanks for the welcome and the tip!
In my ‘struggle’ to get things working again I am sure that I have cleared cache and also read somewhere that there might be an issue with a caching directory not being writeable: so also disabled JS and CSS compression etc.
That didn’t help, good chance that I have tried to many things at the same time.

Using the JA extension component worked 🙂
