here’s the scenario:

the news site is using JA TELINE II we need to the upgrade to JA TELINE IV ASAP. MOST of the JA TELINE II features are not configured properly and the site is mess. Taking over somebody’s work is no fun.

I need somebody to tell me if this doable and how. Migrating JA TELINE II TO JA TELINE IV with all the features working side by side.

If it involves paying for a professional fee (as long as its reasonable) will pay for it.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Hi There,

Teline II to Teline IV is not a migration. These are two different templates with different modules / plugins / framework beneath them.

The only way to do is to install the Teline IV template and related extensions and configure them as per the screenshots in the userguide (recommended).

At the same time, JA Zin plugin is no longer used in Teline IV template and for Joomla 1.6 JA NewsFP & JA News is now JA News pro and JA News featured.

Please dont be confused by the similar name of the templates, you will have to do the template update manually and you should take due backup before you try the same.

IF you wish to get it done by paying someone, you can put your requirement to Joomlancers.com, may be you can find someone to help you with the same.
