    Hallo,
I have upgraded my site to 1.7; I have installed the “Extension Manager”, and after that I have upgraded my JA purity II site. It works now, but the extension manager still reports “version 1.0.0 beta”. If I click on “upgrade now” (Joomlart updates), the only result is the write “processing – please wait”.
    Where am I wrong?

    Thank you! 

Can you provide us with a temp admin and ftp access so we can see this issue and provide with the proper solution ?

    Hi,
I have the same problem. I updated my joomla from 1.6.5 to 1.7 and now I try to update my Ja Teline III v2 template. After clicking on “Upgrade now” I just see “Processing. Please wait…”, nothing else happens. I tried it several times. Please help me!
    Regards

    Hi Olga,

Can you please show us your website ? and perhaps some temp admin and ftp access will be more helpful to identify your sites problem.

Hi Olga, i have seen your site and i can tell that this is permition error so i can only suggest that!

Make a local copy ( if you are using localhost for development it’s easy ) of your site and try to upgrade on your localhost everything on your site.

Otherwise you could change mode of the file params.ini and try to do the upgrade on your server, but please never forget to create a backup first!

    Hi,

This is a permission issue, i suggest that you create a full backup of your site ( files and db ) and then set permissions to folder /ja_purity_ii to 777 and try to upgrade again ( it’s better to try that on localhost )
