    Hello,

    I had a problem with the JA Slideshow2 module for JA Rave in combination with Joomla 1.5.23
    Since I used outdated software, I was advised to use JAEM to update what needed to be updated… which I did.

    Now, half of the pages on my site don’t work anymore and I only get this error:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /mnt/webg/b2/86/52371786/htdocs/3dayz/templates/ja_rave/html/com_content/article/default.php on line 17

    The line in that file looks like this:

    $canEdit = $this->item->params->get(‘access-edit’);

    Furthermore, the JA Rave template I’m using, isn’t listed in the template manager anymore. The JA Purity template is listed however, even though I never downloaded it. Not having the template listed makes it kinda hard to make any changes on it (for example removing the T3 logo).

    Does anyone know how to get the (most updated version of the) JA Rave template back in the list in the template manager or how to restore to the old versions of the template/modules?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi arckoo

    I have tried to install the Ja_Rave template again but Joomla see another instance of the template yet installed

    So please make these steps:

    from your Backend set the default template to beez

    Then go through ftp to your web folder and delete the Ja_Rave template folder

    after deleted all files go to your backend and install again the Ja_Rave template and set it as default template

    Hi arckoo

    I am pleased that my intervention has solved the problem, remains a mystery how the template is missing from your site.

    anyway now all works fine 🙂

    Regards
