The header-search used to be positioned correctly to the right of the logo on the top of the page. Since upgrading, its now been bumped down below the row containing the logo.

In addition, footer-2 appears to have its width or maybe position not display correctly (I can temp fix it with a width:100% in custom.css)

Still very much a work in progress, but I’m currently baffled why this occurred, view here:

Also note, my custom.css is currently EMPTY for testing this.

I checked link of your site: http://cetest.cloudaccess.net/ and found the following:

+ head-search position problem is regarding to conflict css xtypo plugin

Open plugins/content/xtypo/themes/default/style.css file

and see it

.clearfix { clear:both; }

You can remove css script on xtypo plugin or customize head-search by remove clearfix css class in templates/t3_blank/tpls/blocks/header.php

+ footer-2 position is appearing with span1 css class that’s reason why it was break down two line. You need to go admin site and find module within footer-2 position and remove span1 css class.
