I have the old Ja News and am trying to upgrade to the new one. What is the best way to do this?
I get the already installed message when I try to add the new one, if I delete then it still says the same thing.
Should I go on my hosting server and remove it there? Then install it through the back end. I’m sure this is how you do it, but want to make sure before I try.

Hi joew313 !
this is easy way for update teline ii :
– Download new version of teline ii
– Copy teline ii template folder and janews and janews fp module folder and replace it to old code in your site.

I don’t have Ja Teline I, my site is currently Ja Quillaja, but I’m changing to Ja Teline II and I need to get rid of the old Ja News and replace with the new one. Do I still do this the same why as you describe above?

Hik !
No , if you use Quillaja , you can’t do it following obove way :
you can do it following way below :
– Uninstall JA News module ( if you installed it in your site )
– Download Teline ii package and get JA News module in extensions folder of that package
– Install JA News in your site.
