Hello There!
I installed component “userport” in a Joola 1.5 and 2.5 sites. I exported users from the 1.5 site and when I tried to import them to the Joomla 2.5 site I got and error which recommends upgrading Joomla 2.5. So I tried the stable patch to upgrade Joomla 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 and I got this error “JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL DB function failed with error number 1060” then I tried the upgrade to 2.5.2 using the Upgrade option of Joomla 2.5 and I got the same error. I posted this problem in the Joomla site but as I am using JA templates I thought that in this community I would be able to find a users with a similar experience.

Try to reinstall making sure to drop all the old tables in the database.
