The extension manager in Joomla 2.5.8 shows JA Elastica Template for Joomla 2.5 Update Template 2.5.2 N/A Site http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/j16/ja_elastica.xml

But if I try to upgrade it, I get error –
-1 – An error has occurred.

You need to use JA Extension Manager component to upgrade new version from JA Extensions. But you need to check in:
<blockquote>Admin area->Component->JA Extension Manager</blockquote>
and provide account for “JoomlArt Updater Service” (Click on edit link of JoomlArt Updater Service on JAEM, you will see the form to enter your account into)

Please note that a valid active account is required to update extensions using JA Extension manager.
