Upload image function is not working in article manager. Is this a JA_Rutile bug?
Please advise how to fix this.

Not sure, if its a Rutile bug, but to rule it out, may be you can try to change the template and check whether image submission works in other JA or joomla default template.
Do you use JCE editor? try using it, its much better and easy.

March 28, 2009 at 5:34 pm #298705are talking about the backend or frontend uploader?

What i suggested what try changing your default template and check whether your frontend allows your to upload files. That will eliminate the rutile of the blame.
May be providing a live url might help, as need to look up what all scripts are being ran on your site.
March 28, 2009 at 8:51 pm #298742The problem is located at the frontend uploader. I’ve checked out with other templates but reveals no problems. I guess the problem is definitely a JA-Rutile problem. Any idea how to fix this problem?

March 29, 2009 at 5:28 am #298802Which editor are you using? did you try JCE editor? may be a live url will help to assess the scripts you are loading on your site. Please post a live url of your site.
March 30, 2009 at 9:01 pm #299139Hello drarvindc,
Sorry I’ve made a mistake: the problem is located at the back-end 😮
At the left bottom side of the editor you’ll find the image-button. When clicking this button a popup menu shows up where you can browse and upload images. But nothing happens when doubleclicking the browse button.
How to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Just found the solution!
I’ve switched off “enable flash uploader” in global configurations and now it’s working again!!!
Somehow flash uploader is conflicting with image uploader.
Thx anyway for your help.
