December 3, 2010 at 3:54 am #365173I’m now having the same problem.
My details are that I switched providers after completing a site and after switching providers I created a new bucket, set the parameters and tried to start the upload. It goes to 16% and then stops.
Clearing out the bucket and starting over does the same thing.I have the plug in turned off as I don’t have all the files on s3 and turning it on renders the site unusable.
To get back into the site I had to rename the plugin php, access the back end, turn off the plug in and re rename the plugin php.I thought about uninstalling the component and reinstalling it but I see no benefit in the uninstall.
It doesn’t clear out the database does it? And the stopping can’t be related to a database error can it?
Could this be a server time out? What’s REALLY weird is that Akeeba backs up to it’s bucket with out a problem. (separate bucket)

Hello Falco,
It maybe have an error when uploading (network, connect to s3 server, …), so upload progress was interrupted.
the file and the progress percentage is different from each time because some files was uploaded from last upload.Best regards,

You dont need clean up your bucket if upload process is failure.
Just upload it again, and chose an option “upload without replace existing files”. So, It will only upload the files that has not uploaded before.FYI: We will release new version of this component on this week, It have more options for upload. Please wait to try it.
