Hello.

Since two days my slideshow on frontpage force me to login to see the article when i click to read more

I check the access right for public in this areas:
Section
Catagory
Modul Slideshow and K2 slideshow
Article

Every is set to public….

But when I logion as Publisher or Admin….i get access to the articel from the Slideshow

Whats wrong?

Please urgent for help , site should go in four days onliine…

Hi,

You had created a category blog type of menu item for Slideshow category in User Menu, which had access level Special. I have changed it to Public and you can view the slideshow articles without logging in now..

Yes, great job , thank you very much.

I had an error in reasoning.I want to protect the area I set the access level to special….but it is of course the wrong way ….the right way is to “proteced” the User menu….in module

Access Level for User Menu module should be Special / registered and menu items should have access level Special / Registered, except for the slideshow menu in current scenario.

Glad the problem is solved 🙂
