    I found a major bug. When a user makes a PayPal purchase but doesn’t use a PayPal account, PayPal doesn’t return them to the site directly. They try to sign the user up for their service. The only way to get back to the site is by clicking a “Return to site” link. This then goes to the normal PayPal “Returning to site, click here if not redirected after 10 seconds page” that a user normally sees when making a purchase with their PayPal account.

    The problem is that in this scenario, the user gets 2 receipts from JB, the admin gets 2 confirmations from JB, and the system gives credit for 2 transactions! In other words, if an employer buys 1 job and pays for 1 job, the system give them 2. Fortunately PayPal only charges them for 1 transaction. But everything within Job Board is happening twice.

    I assume JB’s PayPal plugin needs to check to make sure it’s not getting duplicate responses for the same transaction. Can someone please help with this ASAP?

    This isn’t a bug from JAJobBoard. This is a process coming from Paypal so we can’t debug.

    We have checked on our demo site, but can’t replicate your bug. Please describe your issue step by step with screenshots so that we can track them.

    Unfortunately it’s still not fixed for the scenario I shared in the screenshots in the original ticket. I’ve posted an update in the ticket.

    It’s been six weeks and this is still not fixed. Duplicate PayPal transactions are intermittently being created. I’ve provided a lot of additional information in the ticket to help you fix this bug.
