May 25, 2011 at 9:16 am #164407Hello I´m really having problems with your slideshow modules, I´ve tried ss 2 and 3, with #2 crashing to a blank page and #3 having image not appearing and when something appears is very wrong.
Later I have a client review on the aproved design (attached), and everything works smooth as always but the slide show which is the reason I bought the membership, so I need to have it fixed and working properly, even some free extension don´t go into so much hassle.
So I had to stop and spent 4 hours trying to find a solution and nothing, it is 4am so you see I´m very desperate here´s the link and as soon as a moderator answers I´ll give the admin to check it out.
I had to upload it to so you can check (more wasted time)….I´m very frustrated guys and to be honest a bit upset…need your help so I know how much you care about your customers.
I´m using the t3 framework by the way but my own template since I wanted to just use the megamenu.SOLVED — Apparently there´s a problem when using no-numbers´s advanced module manager, I just used a new joomla 1.5.23 template and moved things here and it worked, apparently it was corrupted. Joomlart Guys Never heard from you…very bad

May 27, 2011 at 6:40 am #393117Also glat you solved it yourseld. When you sent me your PM last night it was also very late at night for me. We cannot always respond as quickly as you might wish in all cases.
I did logon to your site and wondered why there were so many options in your modules and then discovered the problem too. We could have forced a fix using css but I think it was better to not use the module manager as I think it was also causing problems elsewhere. IMO, no back end tool should cause problems on the front end of a site.

May 27, 2011 at 4:38 pm #393229It was my first experience with your support I´m used to have online chat help with hosting provider, ticket support no more than 2 hours and even in my registrar when you buy a domain of 7 buck the even get to in 8 hours at most….so I think as constructive critic you should have rules for your support that way I now what to expect, how long to wait and plan ourselves this way. I really really like your work so there´s always room from improvement. Take care guys, by the way I´m still having a problem I think Hung is looking into it but I´d appreciate more help indeed.
PLease check the ticket

May 27, 2011 at 4:48 pm #393231Sometimes support is very rapid on the forums depending on who is around. A lot of the support is from keen helper like myself and JA also employ a team of full time supporters and developers. JA do try to answer all question in 24hrs but on occasion that does slip a little.
Have you managed to move the circles? It is a small change but I got the impression you had fixed that.
Open modules>mod_jaslideshow3>assets>themes>events>style.css line 138 and change it to the code below
.ja-slide-thumbs-wrap {
height: 100px;
left: 600px;
margin: 0;
overflow: visible;
position: relative;
right: 15%;
top: -30px;
width: 250px;
}You can then simply change the images for the circles to oned that you want for your design.

http://support.joomlart.com/index.ph…ket/View/73325It seems like Hung has disable the slideshow but it is in there in the modules.
I´d really appreciate the help.Phill ModeratorPhill

May 27, 2011 at 5:01 pm #393235I cannot access the ticket system at the moment (on an ipad). What exactly is the problem? Is it the small circles one you PM’d me regarding yesterday?

May 27, 2011 at 5:14 pm #393238Yes Phill that is I´ll paste the info so you can take a look.
“Here is the testing website: http://test.yunnity.com/websites/runawasi/ja2/
What I need is a small change to have it look like the aproved design (http://docs.yunnity.com/share/joomlart/prop3a.jpg) in the slideshow, so I need to be able to put the navigator on top of the image and be able to move it with the css. Right now I have like some blue circles but I will change them into the ones I want, that´s not the problem…..My real problem is figuring out how to place this circles on top of the image, ´cause when I try to move them they go beneath and so I need you to help me.
Take a look in the module, I want the navigator to be on top of the image right now like in the quartz2 skin (without thumbnails), I modified the events to look the way I want it but the only thing missing is to put the navigator on top.
I was able to do everything but this, so I would really need your help on this ASAP I believe it is a small change, you can check the settings on the module manager.”
I´m sending also a screen shot of how I need it, its pretty obvious but nevertheless sometimes it is needed.

May 27, 2011 at 5:52 pm #393250The forum software is vBulliten but JA have all sorts of custom code going on to keep the site running the way it is. You could use jFusion to integrate vB into Joomla though I have not tried it myself.
The ticket system is a third party tool, maybe the JA guys can give a little more info.
