June 9, 2009 at 5:35 pm #141800Hello,
I have been trying to redeem my points for 6 months membership but the system is not working.
I have sent several emails to JA staff and no one seems interested. It is almost a month I ma trying and it is not working. I am not happy about this.
Could someone advise me please on how to redeem these credits. I have over 2000 credits.
Thank you.

June 9, 2009 at 5:44 pm #307397You where meant to redeem credits before your license expired.
You might not be able to do them now. Also, you might have to wait a week before the admins go through the people requesting redemptions as it’s only look into once a week.

June 9, 2009 at 11:28 pm #307457When you have an expired membership you can’t redeem a new one. So, the only way to go is to purchase a new one and redeem those credits then for another one. Regardless how many credits you have, you can only redeem a new one with a current active membership and as mentioned must redeem a new one before the current one expires…

Good to know. I redeemed points to renew my membership last weekend and my membership expires in Saturday. Based on the redemption policy, I will have my renewal just in time. 🙂
Just in time for real…I just lost my job (darn “economy”!)…

June 10, 2009 at 11:27 am #307503That is really unfair as I have attempted to renew my membership well before it was due tu expire.
I have tried to email some members of staff and nobody replied.
It is not fair at all and I am not happy about this. I do not usually complain but this

June 10, 2009 at 11:58 am #307505If you put in your request prior to your expiry date. then they should redeem it for you – however it is to their discretion only. You need to take this up with support staff.

You should PM “MiCCAS” with your issues. Normally he handles such cases and is also fair with this.

June 10, 2009 at 3:13 pm #307531I think it costs 6000 credits to redeem for membership renewal, this would explain why you can not change your 2000 credits

It would make my day if my support ticket would be addressed by Joomlart.

Does your SuperMod status allow you to also add a blinking effect to the titles, like the ones you complained about on the McCurryRecipe site… That would be awsome!:D
(Just trying to get the mood a bit up, just to cheer all up a bit…)
