March 19, 2012 at 9:54 am #444492Hi Harvey,
I can see your cart no problem. Both on the left of the page and also if I go to cart.
I do see that you have some other problems with the site. On some products you cannot see the ordering buttons. I seem to remember that we had this problem before on your test site so maybe if you have done an upgrade these have been lost. To get them back into view you can add this code right at the end of your template.css or you can change it at about line 323 of components/com_jshopping/css/ja_tiris.css. Just remember that any update will probably overwrite this. Again! 🙂
.prod_buttons {
margin: 100px 15px !important;
overflow: hidden;
}
I have no experience on Joomla 1.5 or on JS 2.9.7 but I think you also have a problem with cache. If I put something into the cart and I delete it I still see it. If I try to delete again I get an error message so the system has deleted it but I think it is in the cache.
If I wait 15 minutes then it goes from the cart so try turning off the Joomla cache. With a shopping cart it is always good to not use cache – for exactly this reason.
You might also want to use the alias in categories and products in JS so that you get a better url and it will help with your SEO. You have to put this in manually – it does not do it automatically like Joomla default does.
Maybe some of this helps but Dat can probably help more than I can. 😉
Bestens.

Cool – lots of extra functionality in JS then! Wish you much luck with an upgrade from 1.5 though – better man than me! I would start on J2.5 fresh so that I didn’t import or upgrade any old problems! Probably quicker too! 😀
Bestens Mijnheer!
