    Hi,

for me its a urgent request:

i am using AVAST ANTIVIRUS and i want to renew my packages at joomlart.

But i couldnt load the membership details because AVAST says: “trojaner/virus” website (at joomlart)

    Like that:
    Infektionsdetails

    Prozess: C:Program FilesMozilla Firefoxfirefox…
    Infektion: HTML:Iframe-inf

thats on alot of pages on joomlart, i picked up only one example.

So it is now unsecure here ? I dont know what i really have to do now, never get that on joomlart before.

thanks and hope you understand me

    Hi Jmpi,

We are running some promotion programs and the main site would redirect to Nexus 10 page. Your avast antivirus detected it as virus. However, we removed Nexus 10 page already.

Do not worry, our site is safe, see the followings:

    http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/http%3A//www.joomlart.com/nexus10/

    The Problem still appears:

    AVAST also detect:

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/member.php…..

so, if i try to go to member-area (profile-settings) AVAST is blocking.
    also during renewable…

    Jmpi,

We did contact to Avast and they are checking to remove block rule.

If you have paypal account, pls pay us the amount to our Paypal account via paypal@joomlart.com then pm me the transaction ID of your payment, i will manually renew the membership for you!

    Sorry for any inconveniences caused!

I use Avast Internet Security and have no problems with anything virus related to Joomlart. Mind you I have set up Avast firewall to accept Joomlart.com as a ‘friend’ and put it on my safe lists etc and don’t use any browser for my own connection than Firefox

    Cheers Shannon

I get the same issue using Avast. Most users won’t see it if they automatically log in as a user when visiting the site. Seems to only occur for me when logged out. It was on the main page where the ad popped up but it is still present elsewhere. Avast blocks all iframes and reports them as infected, but it may be that the code is the problem

Thanks, i bought another PC this weekend and installed AVIRA Antirus – so that worked with paymend well.
    Thanks!

But hope you fix the problem with AVAST (still running)

I am not so sure this is a problem with Avast and not a virus on the message board system. Avast shows a iframe-inf for more and more pages. Originally I thought the infection was on my computer but I can get the error on other computers with Avast running and going to the forum in a logged out state. This could be why most users don’t see it. Until I hear from an Admin on this forum I do not want to turn off Avast. Can anyone confirm this is an issue with the antivirus program and not an infection. I do not want to download anything until this has been cleared up and verified.

A url to a site is not proof the iframe-inf is not in the system as it adds code to the links that run in iframes.

I’ve just checked through this site in logged on and logged off states with a number of virus checkers and only Avast seems to have a problem. See the list below, all are the latest releases and updated.

    Symantec Endpoint (corporate)
    Norton Av
    McAfee
    Avast
    Kapersky
    Avg
    Bitdefender
    Bull Guard
    F-secure

Thanks Phil for checking on this. I do notice that the login popup that comes up is different than it was a few hours ago. and now I do not see the warning. At this point I am not sure if the error was with Avast or the recent site migration and scripting.

While appreciate marketing, it is very annoying to one: have popup offers on a site I pay to be a member of and two: to get virus warnings because of. Hopefully this was a coding issue that caused Avast to raise a false positive. Obviously someone thought they should look into making a change on the login to resolve this, which is a good thing.

I’d still like to hear an explanation from Avast or from Joomlart as to the reason for it. I have been sweeping my computers most of the day to ensure it was not on my end and also checked several sitecheckers and all were negative so likely a matter of bad code. Better safe than sorry….

Again thanks for the thorough response on your part. Really appreciated.

One of the companies I work for does virus checker testing hence having all the tools at hand. Avast is well known to be one of the more cautious of the checkers. Sometimes this is a good thing, sometimes it can be a little too sensitive. This is especially true if a site uses pop ups that come from a different URL and require user input. I cannot be sure if that was the case here because I do not know the JA code but I can be quite confident that was the case. Anyhow, it now seems fixed and hopefully will not cause further problems.

    Good Morning Vietnam!
Will someone at HQ please turn off all the issues that are making the site look infected and unable to navigate??
What’s so great about running promotions that throw virus warnings?

I’m still having problems on many pages and member area logins and on and on…….
I am using Avast and appreciate the fact that it is sensitive to these type of issues….

    Hi guys,

Thanks for feedback, Our System Administrator reported to Avast but not yet received reply from them. Maybe they have made an incorrect diagnosis our system. We have checked on both links:

    http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/http%3A//www.joomlart.com/nexus10/
    http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.joomlart.com%2Fnexus10%2F

We are waiting for next reply from Avast.

Glad to hear you say that there isn’t a virus – it was worrying. I have just signed up today a 1 year membership, and it is frustrating not to be able to access your site or download anything. I have a deadline and had recommended Joomlart but now can’t proceed!

Another glitch – when trying to download T3, the popup to post on Facebook/Twitter comes up. On clicking on either of the buttons it just does not proceed any further.

I’m quickly typing this in before the page shuts down…that it hasn’t so far, is a good sign…is the problem resolved?
