Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to minimize a url of a K2 ITEM to just the website and the item name? Is that possible?

Now:
http://www.waterlineindustries.net/index.php/events/event-uno

Goal:
http://www.waterlineindustries.net/event-uno

I heard a bit of the renaming the htaccess.txt. ????? and then making 3 changes in global configuration… but I like not to change anything on the server side…

Hi Mario,

If you want to change url, you need install the sef component for your site.

You can find and try it here : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/sef
