July 16, 2012 at 8:54 am #179127Hello @all!
I have articles in cat1/cat11 and also in cat2/cat21.
In frontend when accessing cat1/cat11/articleABC initially, all is well.
Then I access cat2/cat21/articleXYZ from the Latest Blog list (module).
The last action changes the category part of the URL for all further entries on the active page!
I.E. it shows: articleABC as being in cat2! Full Url: cat2/cat11/articleABC.
Confusing? Sure, especially for my users, although I hope to have described the findings well enough here.
I would highly appreciate a pointer to resolving this problem.
Best regards

July 18, 2012 at 9:26 am #461289Hi there,
Could you post URL of site you’re working here and tell me which page should I access to reproduce this issue? It’s better with a closer look.
Regards.

July 18, 2012 at 1:19 pm #461324Hi!
It’s a .eu domain by the name of: geldanlage-risiko
After frontpage, choose any one of the articles there.
Then, choose menu selection ‘lifestyle’ in the sidebar.
Move cursor over the menu selections in sidebar under Grundlagen, i.e. Wertpapiere or Aktien. Result: ‘lifestyle’ is added to URL.
Choose ‘Wertpapiere’ and any article there. Mouse over shows ‘lifestyle’ in URL and the article view mouseover also produces same.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

July 20, 2012 at 10:43 am #461620Hi marketeer,
Yes it is a bit confusion. I think it will be a long message to explain about it.
You can say that, this is the joomla core feature and maybe – issue or your configuration is confuse. In short, the ‘lifestyle’ which you see in the url is the menu title, not category title.
To get over this issue just please disable your module (GRUNDLAGEN) that has module type is Articles Categories and replace it with Menu module type. It will solve your problem. You can create two menu items that have the same Menu Title but the alias is different.
Hope it helps.
Regards
