Hi guys,
i have a problem with the url on my website.

Basically i have this structure:

– category A
– – article 1
– – article 2
…

and the menu:

– example (text separator)
– – article 1 (single article)
– – article 2 (single article)
….

so my url is:

http://www.mywebsite.com/example/article-1

the problem is that, i can’t figure out why, the system create automatically a copy of the page with this url:
http://www.mywebsite.com/example/article-1/100-category-A (100 is the id of the category)

I see this problem in every link of my website so i have every link duplicated.
Can somebody help me to fix this problem please? may am i doing something wrong?

Link is build based on characteristics of the menu item assigned to page

Hi, yep of course.

the main url is: http://www.iam-londres.com

In this version i didn’t create any menu voice for the category wich is giving me problem, but for example, that’s is part of what i see from webmaster tool as duplicate content:

/100-accomodation/174-hotels
/londres/la-meteo-de-londres/100-accomodation/174-hotels
/londres/le-livre-sterling/100-accomodation/174-hotels
/londres/quelle-heure-est-il-a-londres/100-accomodation/174-hotels

why that category and sub article are going to create a new url?
Basically i have all my normal url+ that category+ that article

Hi Simone,

Did you try to have a look at the tracker item on JoomlaCode? http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=29428

It appears to be Joomla issue, BACKUP your site first before changing.

just an update,at the moment i solved the issue just deleting the category, then i’ve created a new category with a different name and seems work properly.
