Hello,
I’m working with Joomla 1.5.14 and the last version of the ja_mageia template and the web site is this one: http://www.xelios.ch. No changes where done on the template.When I use the basic URL rewriting, everything works fine except when I want to display a page from a sub-menu. In fact, all the page accessible from a sub-menu are not displayed with the current template. They are displayed without template (see. printscreen).
I’ve tried with another Joomlart template and it works fine. Does it mean that this template is not able to managed URL rewriting with sub-menu ?

September 28, 2009 at 7:13 am #318830Dear osso,
Thank you for your PM
Please try to solve it my way:
+ Open configuration.php file at the root of joomla, at about line 21, find following code:
var $live_site = ”;
and change to;
var $live_site = ‘http://www.xelios.ch’;

I did the change as mentioned on your last post but that doesn’t solved the problem.
Do you have any other idea ? Do you think the problem still come from a wrong parameter in the file configuration.php ?

September 29, 2009 at 5:25 am #318955Hello,
First thanks for your great support !
First, I see that to display the picture when being in a sub-menu you simply add the domain name in front of the images. Why with this template we have to put the domaine name in front of the images when using a sub-menu ? The problem is that all the pictures I will add in articles belonging to a sub-menu, I will have to add the domaine name in front of them.
Second, we can see now the template when being in a sub-menu. What did you do for a change ? This can be usefull for the community.
Regards,
