Hello all,
I’ve activated SEO settings, but only the starting part of URLs are rewroted.http://www.abosolo.com/shop.html?page=shop.product_details&category_id=52&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=78
in blue the non rewrited part of my URL.
Is there something to modify in my .htaccess (see below)?
Thanks for your help

November 28, 2008 at 11:19 pm #280680I don’t know enough about .htaccess to help, but just wanted to mention that i used a component to help with this and found it was easier to set up that way. sh404sef is the component, non commercial from the joomla extension forum. It allows you to set up names for the files too, and seemed to make my sef work when I couldn’t get it to work on my own 😮

November 28, 2008 at 11:24 pm #280681Its not SEO, it SEF that you set.
If you want to mod rewrite the cart urls, you are best to install a third party component such as Artio or sh404sef, both of which require a plugin to translate the VM urls.
and don’t forget to do your 302 canonical redirect

That’s the extension Cj is speaking of, I use it myself and I find it very usefull over the stock joomla “SEF”.
