Thanks for the great theme!!
Is it possible to use the module positions that come with Jomsocial? Positions such as js_profile_top, js_side_top etc?
I’ve tried publishing a module in one of those positions and it doesn’t appear.

JomSocial module is used for internal JomSocial template. You can’t use it as Joomla! module position .Thank you,

Thanks</blockquote>If the module positions are showing up in the list of “available” module positions – then it may be that the positions are listed within the templateDetails.xml file, but there are a couple of additional steps you may need to take to create these positions yourself within the layout.
Here are some resources for how to add a new position.
