I would like to use the Muzic Blog Category from the JAMuzic template in another template, so that I can have the “video section” style from JAMusic, but in another template.
How do I go about setting this up.

March 14, 2014 at 7:24 am #526689Please consider if you wish to go with this modification. It needs experience developer to carry out such work. Actually, we had many customisation in blog category and view in JA Muzic Template.

March 26, 2014 at 2:52 pm #528261Bringing style of JA Muzic to another template will take time and I’m afraid its beyond support scope which covers only the demo alike display. Below are some suggestion:
+ Copy entirely MuzicHelper class from templates/ja_muzic/templateHelper.php file and make the same within other template
+ Copy muzic.php, muzic.xml and muzic_item.php files from templates/ja_muzic/html/com_content/category folder into other template.
+ All format of articles video on JA Muzic Template will be input like as other template.
+ Download and install JA AVTracklist and JA AVTracklist Button plugins from here
Please give it a try by your own or you can hire a developer to get it done for you.

March 26, 2014 at 10:59 pm #528288I have a similar issue as far as the tracklist is concerned. Would these same files and folders need to be copied, I guess along with certain module files and folders, to get the tracklist that’s on the frontpage of JA Music (home-feature-2), to go into another template? Any help and or assistance is appreciated.

March 27, 2014 at 4:33 am #528302That would need heavy customisation, you should hire a developer to carry out such work, this is beyond our scope of JA support.
You can forward my suggestion above to the developer to get better help.

Thanks for getting back to me. I figured it out with no heavy customization. I just needed to copy a couple of module folders and a css file (without changing or adding any coding) from the Ja Muzic template and that seemed to get things sorted, as far as the tracklist is concerned. The heaviest part was figuring where to start. Thanks nonetheless. -
