I’m using Netpin’s Additional Categories for K2 v1.0.1.

When I activate the search on a category where their plug-in has linked an item I get no results despite the core K2 category view showing those items.

Because of their implementation the itemCount in the item manager for the category containing linked items shows zero. Does the JA K2 Search module depend on an accurate itemCount in order to work?

Netpin do provide code to add to the K2 core which correct’s this count, but clearly I’m trying to avoid making this change if it’s not necessary…

JA K2 Filter is not tested with Netpin’s Additional Categories extension, so we are not sure if they can work well together. Our extenstion is just developed and tested on default K2, and all compatible issues with other 3rd extensions are beyond our scope support.

If you still want to get them work together, you might need a custom work for that. Thank you for your understanding.

Would Joomlart offer custom support service for that? If yes, how should I apply?
