If you take a look at the User3 position (Footer) you will notice that the footer items are not showing up properly.
They are functional but do not show up as the same as the Demo

can anyone shed any light on how to fix this? I find it an unprofessional touch to our site

Check how you have sets up the menu at bottom there? Do you use a suffix on the menu module?
