I noticed that the images (still using default images) that appear in module positions 5, 6, 7 8, and 9 take a long time to load compared to the other templates here. Even if I disable the module postions, it takes several seconds to load the image area and complete the menu system.

Is this due to the Transmenu or to something else? Is the Suckerfish faster? My current site based on ja_altair loads instantly using the ja_transmenu.

If I use the JA Regulus extra template, it now takes several seconds to load. What can I do to fix that?:-*

    Hi krisjohnson,

The problem you mentioned about is very strange. MooFX code in Regulus and Regulus Extra is the same. Did you try Regulus Extra with Suckerfish? I think Suckerfish is surely faster than the Transmenu but it doesn’t has the cute Transmenu animation ;).

I have the same problem plus a little more. I’m using ja-regulus (regular).
When I load the site in Internet Explorer (6.0.2900) the moofx roller is really slow OR it crashes IE all together. It appears that everytime the roller moves to the next image it RE-downloads the image from the server. This happens even if the image has already downloaded previosuly and resides in the cache.
BUT, when I run the site in Mozilla, of course it works perfectly.

You can see this in action for yourself at http://www.viseinvestment.com

Thanks to you in advance for any help on this matter.
