When on the back end admin area, I tried to create a transaction for a user and mark it as paid. But it is giving me the following error:

“User account do not have enough credits to make this transaction. Please add more credits to continue.”

I only have a PayPal gateway installed, as I don’t want to give employers another option on the front end.

How do I manually complete the transaction?

UPDATE: I realized I could create the transaction and not mark it as completed. It would go through then, and then I just had to edit the transaction and mark it completed. Obviously, this is not ideal, so it should probably be addressed. But at least it can be accomplished with this workaround.

    Hello BrentWilliam,

As the message said: User account do not have enough credits to make this transaction. means, you have to create Transaction for credit first ( as screen capture ), then create Transaction for Posting Plan or Subscription. That’s the payment process in JobBoard.

    Hi Luna,
That’s assuming I am using the credit system, which I am not. None of the credit packages are published on my site. My employers purchase posting plans directly.

Some employers, however, can’t pay with credit card and ask to pay by check. So I need to be able to add the entire transaction on the back end.

    Hello BrentWilliams,

Credit is the unit to be used as monetary in JobBoard. After buying credits, user can buy packages, the packages allow you to do specific tasks in JobBoard.
If credits are not used, you have to do manually, in that case message you recieved when creating transaction is required.
JobBoard supports numbers of payment methods: MoneyBooker, BankWire, Paypal. You can take advantages of the supported payment methods.

    Hello BrentWilliams,

Please forget all my above post. I miss another way for credits balance.

If you don’t use Credit system, then go to Global Setting >> System Config >> Currency >> Set ‘Mode’ to ‘Real currency’

You can get more info about this setting in: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Job_Board/Administration#Currency
