    What could be causing this?

    This is the user post….

I installed ‘Defender Pro 2012 15-IN-1 Complete Automatic Security’ today.
Now when I go to the http://alreporter.com
site I get a message that says:
    “this page is safe
    Defender Pro 15-IN-1
    Antiphishing filter
    Blocks pages that contain malware
    Search Advisor
Provides Advance Warning of Risky Websites”

This flashes up before the website and then sits there on the lefthand side of the page once the page comes up. This is the only website I have found that is giving me this. I don’t know what on the site is triggering the Search Advisor.

Is the site you mention a JATC based site?

    Hi Tom

It is Joomla 1.7 with a K2 blog in a JoomlArt Teline IV template.

I have a je-poll on the homepage. Am using Google AdSense

    That is basically it.

    Thanks

    Susan:
Have you tried viewing the website on a machine WITHOUT your Defender Anti-Virus software running? I ask because I have anti-virus software running constantly and I do not get “warning” messages for Joomla sites – let alone JATC based sites.

Are you sure it isn’t some content that has been entered into the site?

You may want to contact the Defender Pro people and ask them why their software would be behaving in this manner.

I guess you are right, I should contact Defender Pro. I am running anti-virus on two machines here and not getting this problem. The only content is text and images so that shouldn’t be it either. Puzzlement!

Thanks anyway Tom. You have been a great help to me in this project. I am grateful.
    Susan
