Hi,
I set up a front end user and it is enabled. The login window appears but nothing happens when user logs in. I can log in as admin without a hitch

Hello. Please post more info (which Joomla! version are you using, do you use community builder, do you have SEF or SEO installed…).

nothing happens when a user login, except, they should now be able to access content that is only for registered users.

did you enable the component for the user menu and assign it to a module position, add links to registered user content on that menu

joomla 1.5.6 per quickstart…no community builder or sef … just plain old quickstart…

yes, user menu is published…i can see it when i log in as admin.

i have reinstalled due to other bugs….still cannot get this user login priviledges !! can someone please help me. thanks.

quickstart 1.5.3 i can log in in the front end as admin no problem. i set up a user as front end publisher… i enter the user name and password, and nothing same old login screen.. thanks.
