I’ve noticed when using a fluid layout, if you don’t publish to basically all of the user positions 1-4 for example– instead of the modules running side by side like the layout, it puts the 2nd under the first. This does not happen in mozilla and right now I am not sure about IE 8 at the moment.
It is not just my site, as I looked at some other purity sites that I saw links for, and saw the same issue…
Is there something I can put in the code to stop the shift?
It does not happen if I used a fixed width, only auto or percentage.

seems this happens only in 1024 x 768 resolution.
