I am using Joomla 1.5.8. In the back end when I set it to where new users have to activate their account via email, everything works correctly, except that when the users click on the “Submit” button to send in their registration, no message comes up saying “Your account has been created. Please check your email…etc” to let them know to check their email. All that is shown is a blank registration form, and the users don’t know to check their email for the validation link. Is there any fix for this issue? Thanks!

    EDIT: That option is not currently enabled, so registering will not send an email to your account.

    Hi cmathis,

    Please open index.php file in templates/ja_kruger folder, at about line 152, find following script:
<!– BEGIN: CONTENT –>
and change to:
<jdoc:include type=”message” />
    <!– BEGIN: CONTENT –>
When you will see your requirement.
