OK so please see the attached screen shots and url: http://www.2cbh.com/test_site/
i followed the instructions in this post:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/change-the-module-posision/
to place the user5 module position under the right and left module positions. in firefox and IE8 all looks great (see attached IE7_module_issue2.jpg). HOWEVER in IE7 it completely breaks, no background and no structure at all and instead the text of the module overlaps the text in the top right module position (see attached IE7_module_issue1.jpg).
my second issue with this is that i do not have access to IE7 at the moment as there is something wrong with my IE7 installation on my PC and i do not have time to troubleshoot that issue right now. the screen shot was sent to me by my client.
i went ahead and switched back to the original position to see if this fixes the issue, but have no way to check. could someone with IE7 working check for me? AND/OR anyone with a clue as to why this might be happening help out?
thanks in advance for the help 🙂

OK no one has responded but i have tried a couple of things, so i thought if it helps someone else i will share. i copied/pasted from a fresh copy of the index.php to restore the user5 module position at the top of the column, so it is once again above the left and right positions. i had the client check it and they say it looks fixed now in IE7. unfortunately, they still want the user5 position at the bottom not the top. any other ideas on how to accomplish this without breaking the module? please? thanks.
November 11, 2010 at 11:30 pm #362543OK so i tried placing the user5 module below the right and left postions again very carefully copy/pasting the text but again i do not have IE7 to check. could someone with IE7 check it for me? and again if anyone has any ideas –*i still can’t submit a ticket.

December 9, 2010 at 2:18 am #365879Hi RParks,
Maybe you’ve already moved beyond this thread’s subject but if not, it looks like your user5 position is working in IE7. That is, if the module in user5 is titled “Request a quote cart”. It’s under the left and right module elements.
Hope that helped.
Best,
