December 17, 2008 at 7:17 am #283195Hi Scotty
Before I turn SEF off, what will happen to my SEO structure? I am using joomlatwork SEO patch and haven’t done it before, i.e. turned it off.

WOW – thanks for figuring out a lot of the on going issues with this template!
I just noticed that the drop downs in the JA News module are kind of working on http://www.clearvoice.co.uk/joomla/
If you select an item on the drop down list from the (Contact Centres) you actually go there instead of the parent category!
As your aware, he has other problems though in that clicking on any gear icon in the other JA news areas drops down his left upper list in (Contact Centres).
This problem still exists on the Joomlart demo as well. How long does it take Joomlart to iron out these problems?

I just want you to turn it off, go and check your drop downs, and turn it back on again. It will only be off for a minute or two so won’t effect any SEO

You’re welcome!
I see the JA demo for vauxite has some database problems at the moment. This could be due to JA fixing a couple of the bugs. The problem is though that Hainn usually doesn’t look in threads with several replies as someone has usually fixed the problem so he is probably not even aware of these bugs.
A seperate thread should be made for the dropdown menu problem, although I still think this might be something to do with SEF urls rather than a bug as other people haven’t posted about it.
December 17, 2008 at 7:54 pm #283268So how does a person make Joomlart officially aware of the bugs. Is the forum the only way to do so?
