In my template jatravel J 1.7.0, I created a new user to give access as editor, I assigned name, username, password and up pops the MySQL user table (see image), but after it is created, and try enter the admin, I get error “Can not access the private section of the site.”

I have done the process again after being deleted, but the error still without access to the admin.

Without giving up, I tried to do the same in another template JaIRONIS J 2.5, and I get the same error.

    What have I done wrong?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
In Joomla, there should be only 3 groups that are allowed to access backend of Joomla site: manager, administrator and super administrator. Your ‘editor’ user account belongs to Front-end group (registered, author, editor, publisher), NOT Back-end. This access levels info will help you more.

    Regards.
