Hi you guys!

I have one big question! I’m new to Joomla, but have been browsing for 2 months now and have still not found a good solution to my problem : I’m making a webpage for my school. Each class should have a blog page where the teacher can post some news about the class and pictures and the parents can see this. The page should be restricted to registered users (that is no prob, I will make the users for each class).
It has to be easy, otherwice the teachers will never use it!!

Can anyone suggest a good component or module that will do this??
OR just a way..

HAve you looked at community builder and mamblog?Or the Myblog from azrul.com. I think your request can be done with theese

I found one solution I think will work.

If I make categories inside news so that every single teacher can put news under there category (that is teacher for 1 grade puts her news in the category : 1) and then I will make a menu item in mainmenu that is Blog-content category. Then each class will have there own “page” and it will be really easy for the teachers to add new news from the front end 🙂

Another thing, how is the easiest way to add picture to news (no ftp ). I’m also now thinking of the teachers, so they can just brows and find the picture on there computer and upload it at the same time!:confused:
