February 12, 2007 at 2:03 am #214456Hi David,
There’re some hints for you:
Remove the code that generates user 7, 8, 9 in the index.php
Replace it with the code that generates JA Header.Of course you need to do some CSS styling too.

Ha Le-Viet.February 27, 2007 at 10:20 am #215031Thanks for the tip.
But let’s say I WANT the user modules on the front page and then the JA Header module in the same place for some of the Section pages…
I realize I can assign different templates to different pages, and this seems to be such a time… but how much of the original template do I have to save under a new name for this to work?Do I need to make a new folder and move ALL of the template content into this one, rename it, only to change a few lines in the index.php? It seems pretty redundant. But maybe it’s the only way to go?
To summarize: If I have a base template that I like, but what to make minor changes under a new template name to be able to assign to different pages… how much needs to be re-saved. And how?
Many thanks for any input!
Andrée

February 27, 2007 at 4:34 pm #215041Hi Andretti,
You don’t have to set different templates on different pages or duplicate any files. All you need to do is to put some if…else block with mosCountModules and mosLoadModules function into the index.php file, and then set your module positions to corresponding pages.

Ha Le-Viet.March 1, 2007 at 3:07 pm #215117Hi again!
Don’t mean to steal too much of your time, but could you give a code example of such a if- else statement?
I want my user7-9 on my front page and maybe some other pages. But then some pages would look nice with a JA_header script rotating images…I don’t really know php, even if that’s obviously going to change with Joomla in my life.
Thanks,
A
March 30, 2007 at 6:06 am #216859Hi!
I really ike this template a lot but can anyone post a idiotproof step by step method to integrate the JA header module with this template. I’d like to know what code is to be swapped in the index.php files! Any help is much apreciated.
Thanks.
