I want to implement two different JA templates on the same joomla site. JA Rochea and JA Polaris. Is this ok to do?

If so, how do I avoid conflicts with css, module positions, etc.?

Or is it better to create a sub domain or folder and install a complete new joomla site to implement the 2nd template.

Reason for 2 templates… I want to have a completely different look/feel for parts of the web site.

There will be no conflict when you use 2 templates for one site, because the fact that you only use one template for each page.
Install 2 (or more) templates, choose one for default and assign others to pages.

Only thing that you have to be aware of is the places of the modules can be different. Also the module-suffix can be different, so you must avoid giving published modules (wich are published in both templates) a module-suffix.

    Kind Regards,
