Hi,

Could I use the various different background styles of Opal across different sections of my site?

My guess is I’d need to install the template multiple times on the same Joomla install and then configure each different as per the pages I want the different backgrounds to show on???

So, if that’s right is it possible to do multiple installsof the template on one site?!?!!!!

Yes, you could. You may use Menu Asignemt in your template configuration (Extensions – > Template Manager – Ja_Opal – Menu Assignment). Just choose a styke for Home and Aply, than choose another for next Section (menu button) and so on.

Hi Teletrance – OK I hear what you say – and thanks – but you can only do this once right?

So I can set 1 Opal background for whatever Joomla menu sections I want Opal to apply too?

What I meant was – can I have the skateboarding background and colours on my skateboarding page – and the athlete template on my athletics page, etc – I don’t think I can without doing multiple installations of the Opal Template….

Is that what you’ve done – or can someone else comment who may know?!? Thanks!

well, I guess you are right, I worked with 2 opal templares, with different names. But I think it worth!
