Okay, let’s say I am using Xenia II as my base shopping site template, but I would like to use the structure of Teline for my “News & Events” sections of my site.

Can this be done? If so, how would I configure this through Joomla?

Hi – go to site / template manager then select Teline, click assign, then CTRL or SHIFT select the menu items you want to assign the template to. Assuming you have Xenia as your default.
