December 8, 2012 at 2:19 am #182918I am using the Mendozite template for Joomla 2.5. My client has 3 properties that we want to tie into one website. He wants different color themes for each property. Each property will have it’s own internal series of pages with it’s own main menu.
My issue is in Joomla template manager I copied the medozite template which i was planning on assigning each template for different menu items. My issue is all of the copied template pull in the same CSS. If i change one template color settings, it changes all the copied templates.
When I assign the Beez template, it works the way i want, but when i assign a Mendozite copied template it all shares the same css and doesn’t work.
any idea?
Thanks

December 8, 2012 at 4:00 am #475504I figured it out a little. If you go into each tempate and deselect the link css feature that helps. What i did notice is when i assign certain menu items to certain modules and then i create more menu items for other templates, the menu item i just assigned 10 minutes ago has reverted back to the default template. Why does is change? it doesn’t make sense.

December 8, 2012 at 4:46 pm #475564When i make changes to one of my Mendozite templates, it reverts all menu items to use the default template. Is there something i need to do in each template to stop this?

December 8, 2012 at 7:48 pm #475572It looks like there is a BUG in the T3 Framework. I tested a gavick template and did the same changes and all is working. Is there a known issue in the T3 Framework that reverts the template style back to default after css changes?

Please ensure that you clean JAT3 cache after making changes<blockquote>When i make changes to one of my Mendozite templates, it reverts all menu items to use the default template. Is there something i need to do in each template to stop this? </blockquote>
when one template is assigned to one menu item, you should not assign this menu item to another template. For example, if you want to use default template for Home menu item and Typography menu item uses 2nd template, in backend settings of default template, try not to assign defaulte template for Typography menu item.
Then clean JAT3 cache.
If problem still persists, pls describle steps by steps you’ve taken so far, I shall try to check for you.
