I have a new Joomla 1.52 site up running the Zibal template, unmodified.

I am new to Joomla and Joomlart, so I am trying to understand the best way to use styles for article formatting. I am supprised to only find 2 styles in the Style dropdown when editing an article, which are not used for text formatting.

Is using CSS styles for text formatting not the preferred way to keep text consistant across articles? What is the best way to implement consistant text formats across a Joomla / Joomlart website?

You format article text by using panel editor panel on top content editor . View image attachment for detail :

Thank you for your reply, i guess I was too vague. I am familiar with the editor panel, which I am using. However, I cannot find where I create styles for this panel (in the Style dropdown).

But my main question is how people standardize text formating across articles (besides manually setting them).
