hi there,
i am using vbulletin without a wrapper on http://www.puffbohne.de. i just copied the head of the page – going to source-code – into the fields for the header in vbulletin.
now i want to change my template to teline. can you tell me, what i have to put in the header-field for vbulletin – i am not so good with html/php to find the right point how far i have to copy the code.
and maybe you can prevent the code to put in the footer-area – from user-module positions on – so teline dominates the whole template, also with forum.
sure i have to change some realtive paths to total paths.
or is there another way to keep the forum inside the template? wrapper causes problems sometimes (for example in opera).
sorry for bad english 🙂

April 24, 2007 at 10:03 pm #218867Frank, this is no easy task without knowing a little bit more about html/php. What do you mean by “i just copied the head of the page”? Did you also look for a bridge to integrate vbulletin?
April 24, 2007 at 10:11 pm #218869i am using the bridge from bbpixel to integrate vbulletin to joomla.
formerly i used the forum in a wrapper. but in opera-browser the automatical height-function did not work. so i went to the source-code of my actuall template, made some real path out of relative path, and copied the header area from source code into the header-area of vbulletin – as you can see on http://www.puffbohne.de.
now i want to change the template to teline – and just want to do it right. and so i asked for help, to find the right point the header from sourcecode has to be copied – and the footer-file also.
do you unterstand now my problem? would be great to get some help with it…

PM MiCCAS he has done it apparently and may guide you through the process, but remember its a hack not a bridge

May 18, 2007 at 12:43 am #220239You need to change the font size, I had the same issue with my bridge.
May 18, 2007 at 10:13 am #220264where do i change the font-size? and to what font size?
and what part of the source-file do you copy to the header of vbulletin, for everything to work correctly?
and did you copy also the footer-files? -
