I didn’t know if I should post this here or on the t3 forum, but I’m starting here since this template and the plugin are both so new. I downloaded the two plugins for the video/audio stuff and added to my default t3 template running on Joomla 3.1.x. Works great, but the resulting video is not responsive.

How do I make this work so it’s responsive on my otherwise properly responsive framework?

At this moment, this plugin is responsive in JA Muzic template only, we reported to dev team and will update this feature soon.

I see that the fix is marked as major yet there has been no comment in 2 weeks. Any way you can set expectations as to when this would be addressed. I’d like to switch to using this plugin if possible rather than “allvideos” due to other issues with that plug, but I can’t unless this is responsible.

Hi Scott,

At this time, our dev team has some priority tasks to finish before the major update. One of them is releasing the new October template next few days on time. By that reason, the new updated features/bug fix/compatibility of all listed extensions will be put in progress soon after releasing the monthly template.

Well,

I just checked this thread and the tracker and see that nothing has happened with this. October template came out, now November template is out and this plugin still sites on 1.0.0.

Any update?

I am sorry that we are behind the schedule to get the video plugin responsive on T3. The workload on Joomla 3.2 upgrade drives almost our plan. Temporarily, kindly send me your site url, admin login info and FTP account, we will seek for a quick fix on your single site.

I don’t have a single site yet ready to do this on. I am looking more to being able to use it for sites that I am building soon – in the development phase but not built enough to do this with.

Is it just a matter of changing the .less files or is there php code that needs to be modified to do this?

Hi Scott,

In general, the display area of video/.mp3 file using our JA AV Tracklist plugin will be overridden to fit the related layouts on each template. At this time, we can give you the suitable css styles to make the area of video/.mp3 responsive on JA Muzic template demo right now.

However, It will be quite hard for us to give you the correct styles to make it responsive on T3 blank site because we don’t know how it displays on your site and what you customized the template layout.

In this case, you can go ahead with your website development and send me the site’ url when it is available. We will back to help you adjust it on device’s resolutions with responsive feature.

Unfortunately, my choice of components is partially dependent on my ability to use them on a responsive T3 Framework template. I can’t hope that it will work for a particular template that I create and then find out it won’t be or that I have to wait on someone to build the responsiveness into it.

It’s interesting to me that a component built to be responsive by Joomlart is not responsive on the blank templte for the framework they created.

I guess I’ll have to keep using allvideos, even though I’m not crazy about it, but I have found acceptable compromises to make it work well enough. Would really like better though.

Any update here? Since Purity III has now been released as a generally available Free template in place of the normal monthly one (which I don’t have an issue with on its own), it would be great to see support for one of the components only available with a template membership to be supported for use within the T3 Framework itself. I now have a rather urgent need for a component such as this one and still don’t have a responsive option available for it. :((

Thoughts? Is this going to be made available to be responsive for a template other than the one it comes with? I made this request in September of 2013 – five months have since passed and no update?
