I have an unusual menu transparency problem with the main drop-down menu on my Uvite website. It seems to occur only with IE8 on Windows 7 and XP. I developed this website on my Vista laptop using Firefox and IE8, but never had a transparency problem with the main menu. The problem is that I can see right through the drop down menu, and the background shows, so the letter/words of the menu are hard to read.

After uploading/installing it up on Godaddy domain hosting, I started seeing the problem on other computers. See attached example or go to my website to see if you experience it or not: dev.glassandgardenchurch.org

How can I fix this? I cannot launch this new website until I fix this IE8 problem with Uvite main menu.

I couldn’t get rid of the transparency problem, so I got rid of the transparency feature altogether. Too many browsers could not deal with it properly, so I made the drop-down menus in Uvite a solid brown, based on another tip I found in a forum.

Sorry, i dont have any tips for fixing this issue.

But you can, replace that transparent image background by background color :), its simple solution for your site to get it working on all browsers of your pc.
