Hi,
I’m thinking of purchasing Vauxite, to use with a Jomsocial community, Kunena and Sobi2 for directories and classifieds.
However, I’d like a featured news rotator system, a bit like on linux.com who’s template is based on Vauxite.
Can I do that with JA Slideshow? (Or another slideshow like Joomlaworks’)
Or is Ja Tabs what I need?

P.S. I just read “Joomla 1.5 compatible”, does that mean in fact that you need to run in legacy mode?

Hello,
If linux.com can do it so can you. They are using JoomlaWorks Frontpage Slideshow. You can publish it to JA News Frotpage or Banner1 position, but you may have to modify the css.
Vauxite is J 1.5 native, there is no need to run in legacy.
